Peer-led support is increasingly recognised as an important part of people-centred and rights-based TB care, helping to strengthen treatment adherence, wellbeing and access to services. Peer-led support refers to support delivered by trained TB survivors or peers with lived experience, providing practical guidance, encouragement and help in navigating TB care.
LHL International, in partnership with the TB Europe Coalition (TBEC) and Latvian Society against Tuberculosis (LTBAB), will convene a 2-day in-person Peer-Led TB Support Workshop in Oslo, Norway, bringing together civil society organisations, TB survivor groups, and national TB stakeholders to exchange experience, address practical and system-level challenges, and strengthen peer-led TB support across countries.
